Ers off of him so he can rape him Then there is this Ninja Slice from Killian There was no time to ask him and I was too caught in watching theseour Inbox figures to sueeze his handor reassurance My ocus remained ixed on the A Touch of Gold four now walking down the invisible barrier like Noah after he had parted the sea Asar as I know Noah never parted any sea ever Moses did All of these things would have been caught by an editor I loved the irst ew Fallocaust books and Breaking Jade It seems with each new book there are and mistakes I would gladly wait yearsfor a well written book rather than getting a sub par one every Hunch: Turn Your Everyday Insights Into the Next Big Thing few months I did like Theo calling Jade dead boy that made me laugh I loved the ending it was one of myavorite lines in Fallocaust and I thought Reaver saying it to Killian and beheading Kiki was brilliant I ll miss Kiki tho I liked himI do have issues with the way Reaver healed himself I sometimes have contact with rape victims in my line of work and I can t imagine any one of them ever choosing that as a way to heal I don t see Reaver ever being riendly with Nero or orgiving him either The rape of Adler by Reaver and Nero was disappointing to me also I know Reaver is Reaver but I had hoped maybe he wouldn t choose that path any after all he had been throughI read this with two other people One of them loved it one of them didn t Cancer Has Its Privileges: Stories of Hope and Laughter finish it I was just kind of meh about it I really wish I would have liked it I wanted to Some spoilers might be ahead I can t even start to explain how much I was waitingor this book When I saw the pre order option I thought I would Az éltető étkek arany szutrája faint so of course as soon as I got my hands on it I started reading And that s all I didor the whole night Taking a break and stopping just wasn t an option the story sucked me in and didn t let go even after I A Grid for Murder finished reading ituil Carter was right when he said this book was going to bring the strongest characters to their knees That s exactly what happened Reaver and Elish haveallen so hard and their way back on top was simply devastating I rarely cry but here I couldn t stop So many emotions were raging so many hearts broken Since Killian has been made immortal I naively thought the problems would end but no they only increased Reaver still can t get over what happened to him because of Nero which leads to psychotic breakdowns and bursts of uncontrollable Painted Desert fury He turned even aggressive and this time even Killian suffersrom it because when those terrible memories resurface Reaver can no longer tell what s real and what s not I didn t think Reaver could get any darker but he did Same Appetite for Elish Oh Elish I love him to death He s my mostavorite character though Reaver ollows him closely and all the time I drank in moments when he s vulnerable when he shows emotions and love he has or Jade I always wanted and of that and in this book I got than I ever hoped or Elish got broken Elish got destroyed Elish turned into someone I would "Never Imagine Him Becoming A Shell With "imagine him becoming a shell with darkness bitterness and grief inside an addict who can only drink himself into oblivion use drugs and kill men women children even his riends He horrified me but at the same time I elt kill men women children even his riends He horrified me but at the same time I Apple-Picking Day! felt because his pain his hurt were unimaginable This book is probably one of the most important ones in Fallocaust universe because it changes the perception and values of the main characters Elish no longer dreams of becoming the King and destroying Silas Heinally realized what in his life means the most to him Killian can no longer close his eyes to darkness that keeps growing in Reaver he starts standing up or himself making tough decisions even though he still loves that half man half chimera desperately Silas no longer wants to keep torturing his amily Slowly painfully he s getting himself to stop Ajax is All About Attack from obsessing over Sky Jade starts seeing Elish as a person who suffers and has manylaws who can sink low just like everyone else and it only makes him love him Garret stops blindly America the Philosophical following Elish s orders Jack lets hiseelings The Northmans Bride (Sons of the North for Sanguine show and Sanguine goes through hell in this part I couldn t believe my eyes that s so cruel Reaverinally manages to ind himself after tortures he suffered rom Nero but now it might lead to him losing the only person he loves so crazily and totally Reaver scared me in this book He really became even darker colder and violent than before I understand his reasons The Northman's Bride for doing what he did but I also understand Killian sury and pain Now I m wondering if this can be ixed because while in the very end Reaver proved the depth of his love or Killian this is still madness and I m not sure Killian would be able to Cherry Bomb forgive andorget Yes Reaver would kill Leading the Way for him he would destroy the worldor him But can he live with him when there is no danger Can he be happy with that It remains to be seenAlmost all alliances are broken New uniue and unexpected alliances are ormed Reaver Silas and Elish reached the bottom of madness and now they are slowly coming back up I m or less sure of Silas and Elish but Reaver with his excessive darkness scares me I can t imagine how he s going to reach the balance between good and evil I ve lost a character I liked a lot here but we also met someone new and exciting I want to know about Adler Maybe one day he would be able to become a partner or our King if Sky is truly not coming back It doesn t look like that now not at all but in The Single Girl's Guide to Marrying a Man, His Kids, and His Ex-Wife: Becoming a Stepmother with Humor and Grace future who knows I want Silas to be happy I want all of them toind their happinessThis is a crazy journey of pain madness and blinding crushing devastating emotions I When Red Cried Wolf feel like I ve been in hell and back uil Carter is an amazingly talented writer and his brilliance was proved once again with this masterpiece I can hardly waitor the second par. Een before Chimeras who were once seen as unstoppable will be stopped those deemed shatterproof will be shattered and the higher these men are the longer and harder they’ll all Who will rise rom the ashes and who will burn in the The World in the Curl: An Unconventional History of Surfing flames still remains to be seen but one thing’sor sure it’ll be uite the ri. S relationshipdoes it make me an arsehole that I kind of want them to stay broken up Not Song of the Forest forever obviously because they meant to be and all that jazz But maybe justor a while I think Killian has to work some shit out by himself We ve already seen Reaver and Killian destroy each other many times and it does parallel uite a lot with Sky and Silas I m very interested in Killian and Silas talking again at some point I want to see what the dynamic of relationship would be without the Reaver entanglementsLastly I completely understand why Reaver let Nero uck him I get why he elt he had to do it and I m glad Reaver is back to being well Reaver The dark monster we all know and love But at the same time I also think Killian has a right to be pissed off I wouldn t blame him A Constellation of Vital Phenomena for notorgiving Reaver after the way he s treated Killian lately Even Reaver chopping off Kiki s head isn t an adeuate answer to their problems Although I did like the parallel of what happened in Fallocaust with Killian cutting off Perish s head or similar reasonsI have to be honest and say that my avourite part of this whole story was Reno I love that Sextasy: Master the Timeless Techniques of Tantra, Tao, and the Kama Sutra to Take Lovemaking to New Heights fuckhead I really do I ve said this before and I ll say it again Reno is the most honest and relatable character to me in this series He s a survivor to the max and he has a very gritty human kind of strength He s the only truly non chimera non clone non immortal non science experiment character and yet he s stillucking alive That s impressive if nothing elseI also Still Life with Chickens find myself strangely drawn to Silas character I don t know why but I truly want him to be happy Or least not to be sunken into depression uite so much I want to know about him despite what he did to Killian Hey if I can like Nero after what he did to Reaver then I can like anybodySo I was completely loved the Silas and Reno chapters I hope to hell their relationship continues in volume two I ll be very disappointed if it doesn t I like the idea of them together as lovers orriends because they are each others opposites in so many ways Reno is a twenty something greywaster with no special skillsand zero self esteem apart Still Life with Chickens: Starting Over in a House by the Sea from his astounding ability to be likable and survive whatever terrible things happen to him Silas is over two hundred years old immortal with special gifts he has honed the power of Skyfall creator of the Fallocaust and a possibly the most broken man in existence They shouldn t work on any level but they do against all reason and that s why I like themRight anyway bring on the next mother effing volume PLEASE ME OR DIEBefore readingWhen I saw this I actually clapped to myself like a twat I m excited as shitor this book I need me some Killian and Reaver the most Paradox Bound fucked up love story possibly ever Maybe We shall see I also need me some Reno the lovable sod Plus some Dekkeramily mind uckery is always welcomeSo basically give it GIVE IT NOWI wonder if I can buy this as a Christmas present to myself STRESSSSSSSSTRESSSSSSSSTRESSSSSSSThis book took me on a journey of many emotions I was angry happy disgusted very disgusted and then boom I was stanning again There is a ew things I didn t like and it STFU, Parents: The Jaw-Dropping, Self-Indulgent, and Occasionally Rage-Inducing World of Parent Overshare felt unnecessary and my guy Reaver is someone I don t even recognize Lots of info in this one and we learn all the things LOTS OFSometimes their are people that shouldn t bone and this book has at least 5 of them and I was like do not want but it s the Fallocaust and shit goes down in a destroyed world I will have to dive in to the next book in the series cuz the ending was likeOverall I really enjoyed it Lots of things like I said I didn t like and aave character is no longer a ave because he a dumbass and I don t even know man but I reaking love this series and it continues to be entertaining even with all dem damn pages STRESSSSSSS Additional Feels FUCK SILAS JFC I can t even explain All I can say is this is twisted disturbing horrific and utterly All I can say is this is twisted disturbing horrific and utterly Well awesome if you love twisted disturbing and horrific story plots Fans of this series are in Syncopated: An Anthology of Nonfiction Picto-Essays for a treat OMG I m speechless right now So much happened here Definitely the best of the series soar Elish is still my Are All Guys Assholes?: More Than 1,000 Guys in 10 Cities Reveal Why They're Not, Why They Sometimes Act Like They Are, and How Understanding Their ... Will Solve Your Guy Drama Once and For All fave even so now One staror every grey hair I got while writing this book But it was worth it and damn is it ever good to be back with Reaver and Killian Where I belong I CAN T EVEN This is going to be an unpopular opinion and I m not writing this to be cruel but "I Am Going To "am going to honest This book is in severe need of editing It was so bad that it drug me out of the story many times The mistakes are numerous There was abuse of ellipses most of the ones used weren t necessary There were commas where they weren t needed andnone where they were needed There were periods where there should have been uestion marks past and present tense used in the same paragraph and so much repetition that it probably could have been cut by 200 pages Or At 3% Sanguine swings the hammerwith my tongue Sticking Out Of The out of the of my mouth and on the very next page he is talking to Kiki as my tongue stuck out of the corner of my mouth At one point in the story Killian mentions men wearing black robes and in the next paragraph he tells us again that the men were wearing black robes There are sentences that make no sense at all such as Reaver is as good as dead the clone who was mostly Sky Or at least it doesn t make sense to me There are wrong words or typos that spell check doesn t catch because they are spelled right just used wrong Killian instead of Killian s and residents instead of residence witnessing instead of witnessed chemically instead of chemical honestly instead of honesty and many When Kerres has Jade chained to the bed Jade mentions that he is completely naked yet a ew pages later Kerres is ripping his box. Ave to worry about Reaver and Killian are going to uickly realize that the plaguelands hold to them a threat that the greywastes and Skyfall have never seen; a dangerous creature that has discovered just how valuable immortals areAnd back in Skyfall the Dekker amily is about to be tested in ways they’ve never ,
5 STARSOk where to start will FUCK ME IT S AWESOME suffice It s also by ar the best book to emerge rom the dark dystopian hell hole known as Fallocaust and it s now my new Mexican Hooker favourite Yes Book 1 and Breaking Jade just got bumped kidz actually they got shovedrom The League for the Suppression of Celery first place as my personalavourites and ell rather unseemly as they were usurped rom their positions this book is in a league of it s ownIn all seriousness though the writing and editing style really stood out to me too and I Suspicion at Seven: A Lois Meade Mystery feel like that s due to the direction this book takes It s very polished and slick but don t let thatool you initially as I almost got lulled into a alse sense of security but nothing like that will ever last in that wretched place It s bigger badder and nastier than the other books too and it s ever so dark secrets that are wrapped up in lies or completely unknown about spew orth as all their secret agenda s are purged as the option of choosing a side slowly becomes everyman The Day Fidel Died for himself or was it really like this in theirst place This is what makes this books so good It s like we know the lay of the land almost everyone s plans go awry after someone throws a ew grenades but it s like their headsemotionsanger explode and that little ripple causes major damage I have the eeling the the next instalment might progress directly to carpet bombing and I m already gagging or the next book It is a monumental cliffhanger of an ending and uil never seems to leave you hanging or too long between his books that are divided into part 1 2 but he also steps it up and just when you think you know what s happening tangents explode all over the place and in different directions too As these books already have well established main characters with one minor exception The Suicide King Volume 1 just dives head Gulp!: The Seven-Day Crash Course to Master Fear and Break Through Any Challenge first over a cliff into the dynamics of power play between characters revealing a plot that has essentially been in playor around 90 years come apart and unravel spectacularly into one amazingly well written and constructed CLUSTERFUCK Let s not The Outlaw and the Upstart King forget to mention all the minor sub plots brimming with subterfuge and nasty cloak and dagger escapades which involve some people that are clueless to it all but have no idea just how important they are to everything I sometime still get theeeling that Elish is not the grand puppet master he thinks he is but you just never know Killian and Reaver are really put to the test and it s extremely harsh on them What they endure is mind blowing and it puts their relationship on the rocks they are pushed to their boundaries It was actually uite hard to read and who know s if this is their wake up call or goodbye It is an extremely emotional book and most of the main players seem to be effected negatively by it majorly This is one incredible series but there are major trigger warnings rom just about everything I could possibly name As I have said it s now my avourite all time series It puts you out of your comfort zone but it s well worth it If you like this review then go back and read ALL of the books under NO circumstance skip the companion books they need to be read OK now Standing By: The Making of an American Military Family in a Time of War for the people who see the word count and groan I will never understand that Yes they re all massive novels but they llly by so uickly you won t notice No wordsNEXT This God damn "mother ucking book made me eel so many things that it isn t even unny I cried like a "fucking book made me eel so many things that it isn t even unny I cried like a bitch I elt pissed off like actually genuinely pissed I wanted to strangle some characters and then others I wanted to cuddle Sometimes I wanted to do both At the same time Because these characters are awful people And I love them with all my heartWarning FOR SPOILERS PEOPLE SO IF YOU spoilers people so if you t want to be spoiled then uck offIt broke my heart when Jade died and Elish just completely spiralled For the Stories for a Teen's Heart first time he truly had to ask himself was it worth it His loveor Jade really shone through or the irst time or me I ll be the irst to admit that of all the characters Elish was my least avourite but I hated to see him suffer so much By the end of this book I elt a renewed respect or both Elish and Jade and I wish them the best in whatever master plan they come up with nextNow onto a broken Reaver the reaper and a secret psycho Killian I was yearning or some Killian badassness since I "finished the last book I needed him to lash some psycho I always thought he had a strangely dark side "the last book I needed him to lash some psycho I always thought he had a strangely dark side interested me the most because he wasn t engineered that way like the Chimera s he was always just a bitoff But also sweet and kind Or as kind as you can be in the land of FallocaustIt bothered me and it has done since book one that Reaver can t ever seem to accept Killian the way he is He doesn t like it when he whines and cries all the time but then whenever Killian shows any dominant badassary Reaver immediately seems to want Killian to retreat back into kitten The Vagabonds form It confuses the hell out of me so Killian must even confused by this point Am I reading too much into characters who don t exist Yes yes I think I am Ahuck it they re real inside my head That s good enough ProbablyKillian definitely showed a vicious side but I don t think that s all because of what Perish did to his head There was always something menacing in Killian you don t go through and survive what he did without being made of tough shit I don t think it s the kind of strength you can develop either you have it or you don t But now we know why there was always something different about him Being Silas s base clone makes perfect sense to me Only uil knows how Killian will eventually react to that news He s still holding onto the how to kill immortals thing so I m expecting some interesting developments The Gilgul of Park Avenue for his characterAsor Killian and Reaver. After months of being separated Reaver and Killian are inally together; but their happiness is short lived Unbeknownst to Killian Reaver is struggling with his own inner demons demons that threaten to not only rip Reaver apart but their entire relationship as wellUnfortunately though it’s not only demons they ,
