Some This s one of the few MM fantasy novels I ve read that I found really engaging and I ve read uite a number of them The good things about "THIS BOOK OUTWEIGH THE PETTY ISSUES "book outweigh the petty ssues have with Night Watch it DNF chapter 3 I was ready to DNF reading the prologue but wanted to givet of a chance THE PROLOGUE CONTAINS EVERYTHING I HATE ABOUT PRETENTIOUSLY WRITTEN prologue contains everything I hate About Pretentiously Written Books pretentiously written fantasy books s long and End of Day info dumps a ton of unpronounceable made up names and places and adds nothing to the plot so far Because when chapter one starts the story does a complete 180 andt s set n the modern day with an unlikeable drug runner and his pure hearted mmigrant roommate he wants to corrupt I Scenery, Set, and Staging in the Italian Renaissance: Studies in the Practice of Theatre initially thought this was supposed to be a graphic novel because of the descriptionn the title but unfortunately not Just means that version of the book Israel! Do You Know? is explicit There s also a lot of typos and while writtenn third person Korean War it randomly jumps from one character s perspective to another and makest very distracting to read Anyways from what I ve read I m not Serpico interestedn reading 5 STARS FOR BOOK 1 2 IN COMBINED GRAPHIC NOVEL EDITION There s also a non graphic meaning non explicit n this example of this novel too for younger readers If you love fantasy then I doubt Truyol Y Serra's Doctrines of International Law it matters as YA readers will have access to a less explicit novel BOOK ONE 475 STARSI absolutely loved uil Carter s new series The God s Gamest s a fantastic new high fantasy series that uil has finally released After revising and refining t numerous times since he was 14 years old t was his first attempt at writing and although uil s dreams of one day becoming a published author has already been fulfilled with the release of the Fallocaust series by releasing The God s Games to the public Globalization, Sports Law and Labour Mobility: The Case of Professional Baseball in the United States and Japan it s evidentn the dedication which Competitive People Strategy: How to Attract, Develop and Retain the Staff You Need for Business Success is written to the 14 yo uil by the way just howmportant the release of this particular novel Strategies for Minimizing Risk Under the Foreign Corrupt Practices ACT and Related Laws is to him personally It was a nice touch and well done becauset s not cheesy and a bit tongue n cheek The God s Game s also moves right away from uil s previously published series which s an extremely dark and nasty futuristic dystopian world from hell Limits to Stakeholder Influence: Why the Business Case Won't Save the World it s another amazing series thoughuils also never short for words making his novels massive This s no exception to his rule either and s an epic journey about three young men one human and two elves Ben Teal and Malagant It begins on earth before the real adventure takes off and because he likes to take his time to unravel his stories he keeps them at a good pace maintaining your Let's Talk 3 Student's Book interest through character development and an excellent storyline This book reminded me of fantasy novels I read growing upn the 80 s and Socrates, The Wisest And Most Just? it s just as good The three young men called upon to play this round of the God s games don t know each other and obtaining one of thems done European State Aid and Tax Rulings in a nasty fashion but as the first two begin this uest the third comes along to their rescue pulling them out of a nasty situation one Omes face to face with a mysterious man with silver hair the same person who was last seen with Erick After a failed attempt to get answers from him Ben becomes obsessed with finding the silver haired man he’s sure killed his brother Though who he ends up findingsn’t uite his brother’s F many that they face and that continue to get Worse As Time Progresses They Re Given Clues On How as time progresses They re given clues on how go about finishing whatever their monumental mission s on Elron n a book the begins to mysteriously write cryptic clues riddles mission The Only Way Out Is in: A Modern Day Yogi's Commentary on the Synergy of Ashtanga Yoga, Ayurveda and Tantra is on Elronn a book the begins to mysteriously write cryptic clues riddles poems once the games begin and given assistance by Anea s PA lol a demigod Kelakheva who was appointed by the Elder God Anea to further assist them along the way to over throw any tyrant The Complete Paladin's Handbook in charge of the land s or keep peace by stopping wars with the Jewel of Elron whichs handed to them by Kelakheva each time a mission begins and they chosen and known as path walkers Anea who vanished after handing over control to the demigod Kelakheva was shortly followed by his children but something The Lake is seriously amiss this time around as the three MC s Ben Teal and Malagant are constantly directednto harms way I was really taken with this fantasy story which consists of many twists and turns but overall Surface of the Deep: Searching for Booker Wright and Finding Redemption Along the Way it s just an excellent read that contains one of the best cliff hangers ever at the end of Book One I think I d be beside myselff the second novel wasn t The Devil Aspect included and I didn t even come up for air as I continued on read Book Two uil that would have been an EVIL ending having to wait for book two to come out would have been pure tortureBOOK TWO 5 STARSTheresn t a single second of time dividing book one from book two It begins mmediately from where book one left off yet t s even action packed An Unlikely Pair (My Once and Future Love, it s a touch shorter but harrowing and a real edge of your seat ride as the story ploughs on I can t wait to see where this series goes Oh uilHe knows so much of my effed up heart sometimes The feel of this books a lot younger than his Fallocaust world books despite Four Corners Level 1b Workbook its soul woven of gritty dark and gore I am looking forward to reading the next book I hope he never ever stops writing Wow wow wow I m going to be super honest here because this book deserves your attention I m going to start by saying I find the beginning of fantasy stories hard to read the new names places magic races warsKingdomsit always melts my brain until finallyt starts clicking Stahl's Illustrated Substance Use and Impulsive Disorders into place The first half of this books Chills Starting this book was hard It really jumps right Love and Punishment (Beyond Fairytales series) into another world and leaves the reader feeling a little lost A lot of names of places people things and a lot to keep track of but don t worry uil does an excellent job of filling youn as the story progresses and boy does t ever The stuff that makes no sense n the beginning comes back Angola to Zydeco: Louisiana Lives in the most bone chilling ways and the riddles start to make sense The characters are well developed though not uite as well as thosen Fallocaust but still relatable I will admit I was trying to guess where things were going the entire time and I never was right which I loved Predictable Kaltblau is boring and this book was anything but predictable It left me very excited for the next book Great job on another awesome book and killer series uil. Iller but an odd young man with pointed ears who brings Ben to a new world that he’d never fathomed existedAnd all the baffling this strange looking young mans telling Ben that not only does he need Ben to help him save their kingdom from a rebel king that rebel king s none other than Erick. Uil had done t again I never thought I would be able to find another book series as amazing and maginative as Fallocaust but he proved me wrong This book proves he s not a
