[Kindle] Sweet Southern Hearts A Willow Hill Novel #3
An Egg Is Quiet kOm her mother to her sister to even her new husband expecting her to take a backseat to his ex wife and their teenage son While I certainly understand Jack s need to be there for his son his constantly giving in to his ex wife at Linny s expense was annoying to meAfter just a couple of weeks of marriage Jack and Linny have to go their separate ways to accommodate Linny s mother and Jack s son Then Linny s sister has a crisis and it s Linny to the rescue There are uite a few major obstacles for a brand new marriage but the newlyweds make the best of itThe best way to describe this book is a huge slice of life The problems are all realistic emotional and many readers will probably be able to identify with Linny I would have liked to see interaction between Jack and Linny though Most of the time they were involved with other people The characters are all well written and developed to perfection It s a heartwarming novel which brings both tears and smiles until the last page is turnedFTC Disclosure I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book I was not reuired to write a positive review All opinions expressed are my own If you haven t read Susan Schild s three sweet southern romances you re missing out Sweet Southern Hearts is the 3rd in the Willow Hill series and brings the lives of Linny Jack Diamond Kate Dottie and the rest of the cast to a satisfying conclusion I very much enjoyed the pace of the story it s one you can sit back and thoroughly enjoy I found myself smiling laughing nodding and frowning because Ms Schild doesn t mince words when it comes to the real life drama of stepping into the role of stepmother to a young boy the trials and tribulations of a blended marriage and the antics of older characters I absolutely adored Linny and the three women on their journey in the RV I couldn t help but chuckle So much fun Susan writes from the heart and with a flair for the goodness in everyone including the animals in her stories I do hope Diamond gets her own story somedayshe is one of my favorite characters I highly recommend this book and the series This delightful book is the third book in the Willow Hill series about Linny and her search for happiness After being widowed twice Linny is hoping that her third marriage to Jack will be her happily ever after despite all of the obstacles in their way Jack has a teenage boy who runs hot and cold with Linny an ex wife who feels the need to talk to him daily a new consulting company just starting up a mother who is getting ready to go on a big trip with her friends and a sister with a new baby With all of this going on how is she ever going to find time to spend with her new husbandAs the book begins Linny and Jack are on their honeymoon on a white water rafting trip Linny is a people pleaser and even though she would like to be anywhere else she takes the rafting trip to make Jack happy They have to cut their honeymoon short because Jack s son is upset and needs them home So begins the story of Jack and Linny s first year of marriage The main problem that Linny needs to overcome is whether she can learn to speak her mind and put herself and her marriage first Will she find her happily ever after with JackThis is a great series of books and I have enjoyed getting tonow the characters a lot of them are like people that I Cinque indagini romane per Rocco Schiavone (Il vicequestore Rocco Schiavone Vol. 6) know My favorite characters in this book are Linny s mom and her friends and I laughed out loud about some of their experiences on their cross country camping trip This is a fun series and I highly recommend itThanks to NetGalley for a copy of this book All opinions are my own Favorite uotesBuy Pizza and Get Gas at Gino s Gas and ALREADY HECTIC CALENDAR WHEN AN EVEN hectic calendar when an even surprise landed on her doorstep I was holding my breath for sweet Linny for fear that either this new wrinkle or her spineless wuss of a husband would cause her to finally crash and burn The storyline was lively relevant and well paced Ms Schild s writing as always was engaging and full of levity humorous descriptions comical observations insights and inner musings Linny has an active imagination that I find highly amusing I also enjoy her colorful friends with the same level of enchantment and am already looking forward to future trips to Willow Hill. Than she ever imagined but if there’s one thing Linny’s learned by now it’s that there’s always room for another sweet surprise “This charming and well observed novel about finding the courage to love after loss will make you smile as well as cry than a few happy tears Be prepared for a story of true tenderness humor and sometimes nail biting tension Sweet Southern Hearts delivers all this and ” Holly Chamberlin author of Summer with my Siste. I love how witty and real this whole series has been Just fun comfortable Southern fiction As a former teenaged boy from a broken home I appreciated how that conflict was handled as well it wasn t condescending and it didn t feel like too much of a plot device None of it did actually Just real people trying to do their best no matter what life throws at them And a lot of laughs This is one that made my cheeks hurt Sweet Southern Hearts is the third book in the Willow Hill Series continuing the story of Linny Avery Linny and Jack are on their honeymoon but cut their time short when they must return home to care for Jack s son Neal And so begins a very hectic time in their lives adjusting to being married as well as juggling obligations that begin to grow exponentially until Linny wonders if her happily ever after is going to elude her again This story is told with warmth and humor and with so much love These characters feel like friends and family to me now and it was with great anticipation that I read about this chapter in their lives and where it would take them Once again the author has infused the story and the characters with charm and affection This is a cozy tender hearted book but with enough tension to eep the story moving along This a delightful story about second chances about finding love when and where you least expect it about families and friends providing love and support unconditionally If you have not read the other 2 books in this series I urge you to do so Although you could read this as a standalone you don t want to miss the rest of Linny s story I received a copy of this book from the author and have written an honest review Susan Schild is back with the third installment of the Willow Hill Novels featuring Linny Taylor in her latest book SWEET SOUTHERN HEARTS LyricalPress In the first book LINNY S SWEET DREAM LIST she finds herself widowed again at 38 years old and she has to rebuild her life In SWEET CAROLINA MORNING a nearly 40 year old Linny is living the ind of life she s cautiously hoped for She s about to marry the man of her dreams But even though they say the third time s the charm her upcoming nuptials only have her anxious SWEET SOUTHERN HEARTS opens with Linny married and thrilled to be on her honeymoon with new hubby handsome veterinarian Jack Avery She s determined to be the perfect wife and stepmom to 12 year old Neal but uickly learns it s going to take a lot than determination While Linny Jack and Neal are trying to create a new family Jack s ex Vera and her husband trial lawyer Chaz can t help crossing boundaries into the newlywed s lifeI love visiting Willow Hills in Susan Schild s novels Readers can fall in love at any age and encounter relatable issues that affect them everyday SWEET SOUTHERN HEARTS includes topics such as new families divorce step parents ex spouses the tween years to list a few Susan has created a wonderful group of complex women characters that serve as Linny s friends throughout the novel I m sure readers will wish a bit they had a group like hers I didSusan Schild writes heartwarming and funny contemporary Southern fiction Her stories feature adventuresome women good men blended families sweet dogs friends and
